Antietam, the Army of the Potomac victorious at last. Lincoln implores McClellan to pursue Lee. The 5th Corps unscathed by Antietam is ordered to pursue Lee. Shepherd's Town a sleepy town with a nearby ford. Once again the forces of the East will meet.
Join us on the weekend of October 17th through the 19th 2008 to answer these questions.

2008 Event Information
"The Skirmish at the Mill" is featuring the actions in and around Shepherd's Town, Va. ( Today it is Shepherdstown, Wv. ) These actions were conducted immediately after the devastation of the Battle of Antietam. The units we are recreating are: The "4th Michigan Volunteer Infantry" & A. P. Hill's "Light Division", Both of these units were actively involved in the actions in and around Shepherd's Town.
